Halloween reads

murderFall is my favourite time of year and Halloween is a fun part of the season.

Who can forget and all those wonderful 50s films by the UK Hammer Company starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing? Somehow English accents made Dracula and Frankenstein all the more creepy.

From the kitsch of Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney and Boris Karloff the scary films from childhood remain favourites and I know I will find time to watch a few over the next several days.

For those of us who love to get our chills from books, Buzz Feed has a list for consideration.

What are your childhood, or current, favourites?
