Welcome to 2014

Some of us are in recovery mode today. Good luck with it and I hope your excesses of New Year’s Eve prove more fun and less embarrassing.

While I never make resolutions, I have been thinking about delving into today’s world of crime noir and discover what is going on in this genre. To that end I have taken the first step added South on Pacific Coast Highway by Gary Paul Corcoran to my next read:

Billed as, “The first in a series of throwback crime novels, inspired by the Phillip Marlowe’s and Sam Spades of the author’s youth,” it looks like a great place to start and I’ll let you know.

When you can focus pick up a book and read your way to better health.

Wishing you a New Year of happiness, health and harmony.

Thanks Vicki, I’m wishing you the same, and looking forward to more of your input in 2014.
      All the best!
