Un-Su Kim: The Plotters

Shadow men, real world

Reseng was found in a trash can. Rescued by Old Racoon, he was raised among assassins and trained to become a hit man in The Library of Dogs.

With close connections to governments and corporations, Old Racoon parcels out the assignments as he receives them. These days, it seems he’s out of touch with the current marketplace but he has his own agenda.

Now 32, Renseng has reached the pinnacle of his career, and the lifespan of his profession. He’s alone and growing weary. He finds himself attracted to the cross-eyed librarian of The Library. Perhaps it’s because he senses more beneath her surface.

A stellar book, with wit, style and dark humour. You’ll be dragged into this story and be grateful for it.

The Plotters is the English language debut of Un-Su Kim and opens the door to broad expectations for this author.
