Mike Knowles: Running from the Dead

Mike Knowles is one of my favourite writers, and this book is no exception to his craft.

It’s been six years since Sam Jones has been looking for a missing boy. When he finds him, the truth is gut-wrenching.

Lost in his actions the day Jones confronts the killer, he makes a mistake that he knows will end in his incarceration.

He figures he has seven days before he is caught. That’s one week to find a missing teenager who left cryptic messages on the washroom door of a coffee shop. But in Running from the Dead, who is Jones really trying to save?

Great characters, a tense, can’t-put-it-down read, and race to the finish. Highly recommended!

I also reviewed Rock Beats Paper by Knowles in 2017. Click here to read how I felt about that one.
