So this happened last month and if you’re wondering what I’m going on about, keep reading the names in the list of featured authors.
I was incredibly pleased to have my flash fiction included along with the short stories of these talented authors.
For the editors at Murderous Ink Press, it was considered a ‘Lick and a Flick,’ which they generally don’t consider. “Your piece remains the only sub-1,000 word fiction that has made us stop and re-jig a project in order to accommodate it.”
It’s small independent presses like Murderous Ink that makes it possible for new writers to gain exposure and for established writers to stretch themselves. It’s win/win for everyone.
The motto of Murderous Ink Press is: You never know what you like until you read it.
Truer words …
The Editors at Murderous Ink Press also have the following in their Crimeucopia Anthologies.
If you enjoy short stories, kindly consider reading these great collections.
