Rhett C. Bruno: The Roach

A Dark Vigilante Thriller

Let’s make that former vigilante, as Reese Roberts has been in a wheelchair for 5-years. His life and spirit are on a downward drop.

For years he was know as The Roach, a bane to the criminal underworld and significant or petty criminals at large in Iron City.

A bullet from a rookie cop’s gun when Roberts was trying to rescue a rape victim put him in the chair.

Roberts’ history is tragic. Abuse and indifference ruled his younger life and shaped him into a man with a marred psyche and burning desire to mete his own order of justice.

A break-in at his home, has his gear stolen and subsequently, The Roach is back in action. Who and why are the questions, and Roberts will get to the bottom of things, because that’s not all. Someone is homicidally unhappy that The Roach is back.

Amazing, unusual read that ticks all the boxes for me. It’s noir thru and thru. You’ll need a bit of suspension of disbelief for this one, but you won’t regret the time spent reading. I listened to this book and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended.
