This is what I think over looks like. No one’s happy. No one’s out of the woods. No one is getting what they want. No one is getting what they need. No one is getting what they deserve. This is often what over looks like.
Operating out of a back desk at a real estate agency PI Pete Fortunato works to pay the bills with the few cases that come his way. Possibly the beautiful Lila Ashton is the exact client he needs…but there’s a bad taste in his mouth.
Ashton’s husband is missing, and while they’ve been separated for months, she’s concerned.
The investigation begins with the husband’s girlfriend. Strike out there. Then the wife’s boyfriend. A visit to his apartment find the husband shot dead.
So job done right? When the Albanian mob grabs Fortunato he knows he should have paid attention to that bad taste in his mouth.
