Testimonials (Very Kind Words)

Trace Conger

“I was reading June Lorraine’s blog, Murder In Common, long before I pitched her a review of my novels. It was evident from reading her articles and interviews that she has a passion, curiosity, and enthusiasm for crime fiction. Her reviews are creative, informative, and inspiring, and do something that’s difficult to do; she straddles the fine line of sharing enough to hook you but still leaves you wanting more.”

Melissa Yi

“Over the past decade, June Lorraine Roberts has established deep roots in the mystery community, building bridges between authors and readers and applying her expertise from the University of Toronto and the London School of Journalism to level up her creation, Murder in Common, to one of the top crime sites in the world.

I find June intelligent, perceptive, and kind. Instead of a scattered, shotgun approach based on shifting algorithms, I trust June to offer a silver bullet specific to the crime community that is based on her years of experience and friendship with readers and writers alike.”

Kevin G. Chapman

Murder in Common provides uncommon insights into new offerings in the genre, particularly from indie authors, with entertaining and perceptive commentary (and the opportunity for reader comments) in a slick and accessible format. A must-subscribe-to site for anyone looking for honest recommendations.”
