Conscious selection

Unconscious crime

Crime fiction writer Drew Danner, awakes in the hospital. The police found him over the body of his former fiancée, covered in blood and having seizures. A trial sets him free and the real story begins.

Danner had a brain tumour at the time of the murder, and doesn’t know if he is a killer. He finds it difficult to believe he could cause such harm. When the body of another woman is found, he begins an investigation. An excellent researcher for his books, he believes if he solves the second murder, he will have insight into the first. The police are not impressed with his probing.

The Crime Writer has solidly written, strong characters, good read from Gregg Hurwitz.

This IS interesting – the main character not knowing if he is the killer. I bet it makes for some very tense reading.
