Fox in the garden
Hummingbirds by the shed
Math professor Sam Teagarden is on the run. From whom exactly he’s not sure, but they framed him for murdering the boy next door.
At the heart of this, encrypted material sent to him that contains information about a secret government op from the 30s. It’s damaging and can’t come out, regardless of the cost.
Teagarden needs to decode the material but all his regular channels are unusable. His face is across the media as a wanted man. It’s a hard run with bad knees however, the professor is a pretty resourceful guy.
Flight of the Fox is suspenseful and at times humorous. Gray Basnight has balanced that well, with a fast, enjoyable read. Available July 23rd.
