William Boyle: City of Margins

It’s South Brooklyn in the 90s and you are about to take a tour of the souls in the City of Margins.

Included are two widows, a disgraced cop, a hopeful screenwriter, a college dropout, and a high school girl dreaming of escape.

All of them, one way or another, revolve around corruption, suicide, loansharking and murder. There’s a lot of human emotions in this story, and you’ll experience it all.

This is contemporary noir at its finest. Tap into it with this remarkable book by William Boyle.

A good friend of ours was born and raised there until University days and then onto Manhattan. Hope your daughter is enjoying herself and staying safe.

She is staying safe, but she is confined to a very small apartment. Sigh.

I know this is shallow, but I love the colours used on the book jacket.

Not at all! For me, and many others, a book cover sets the tone for what is inside. to enjoy it as it’s own entity is a double compliment.
