Let her die, and I’ll let you live

Veternarian Cassie Larkin is in trouble. It began when she stopped a man from attacking a woman on the side of the road. He warned her, told her to leave, but she didn’t listen. Perhaps she should have.
His name is Carver Sweet, which is quite the misnomer. What she knows about him is via the police – Sweet is a violent man. When he stole her car at the scene of the attack, her wallet was inside. He now knows where she lives.
Then her husband is strangely unavailable with only cryptic texts advising of an extra marital affair. It somehow seems…wrong. Larkin has to investigate that situation herself as the police have no interest.
Oh yes kids, it is all very wrong. No Bad Deed is a suspenseful thriller. It’s going to take you right along with it.

I read this one, June. I loved it. It is exactly what I’m in the market for–good character development within a page turner. It’s a rare thing. Heather Chavez seems like the real deal. Look forward to her next book. Thanks for recommending this.
So happy you enjoyed it Pam!
Sounds like this would be a hard one to put down.
It would for sure 🙂
An excellent review, June, of another captivating thriller!
