Matt Coyle: Odyssey’s End

When Rick Cahill opens his front door he’s looking into the cold deadened eyes of Peter Stone. All he wants to do is slam the door shut. They aren’t friends and they aren’t enemies. Perhaps it’s a détente.

Stone has a task for Cahill with a $50,000 payout. Locate the one person who can save his life by donating a kidney. Stone’s aging and infirmity are real, but this calculating killer only reveals what he wants to.

For Cahill the money would be timely as he strives to mend his relationship with his family and provide for his daughter’s future. All before Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) decides to kill him.

With the news that Russian mob boss Sergei Volkov, is out of prison on some FBI deal, add in a cryptocurrency problem and things are moving fast in this story.

Despite being the 10th and final book of the award winning Rick Cahill Series, Odyssey’s End can easily be read as a stand-alone. In concluding this series Matt Coyle brings us a tense story with all too human consequences. Well recommended read.

I do like it when thrillers have fully developed characters, June. And it sounds as though there are some interesting story arcs here, too. Glad you enjoyed it.
